The Saskatchewan Band Association’s 2020 Regina Junior and Senior Band Camp is filled with many activities to make your week both educational and fun! The camp welcomes both Junior and Senior students, from grades 5-12, and offers comprehensive musical instruction for Woodwind, Brass and Percussion students who have a minimum of one year of playing experience on their instrument.
The Regina Band Camp is generously hosted by the Department of Music, in the Riddell Centre, at the University of Regina. During the week, Monday to Friday, the camp will generally run from 8:45am to 5:00pm. (There will be staff at the camp from 8:00am if parents need to drop off students early.) Participants will need to bring a bag lunch each day, Monday through Friday (optional pizza lunch for a fee on Friday).
We have an excellent staff of qualified band and education professionals lined up who are excited to share their vast musical knowledge with camp participants. Aside from the many musical activities we have planned, (students will participate in Full Band, Sectionals, Private Lessons, Small Ensembles, Jazz Ensemble, Composition, and various other music-related classes) we also include a number of social activities to give participants a chance to relax and meet many new friends.
A Favourite feature of the Regina Band Camp is the outing for staff and participants to Evraz (IPSCO) Park for a BBQ and a swim. Additional optional recreation activities (bowling, dance/movie night, etc) may be planned for some evenings. Students interested in joining the optional Bowling Night can sign up and pay as part of the Camp registration process. Further details on the camp schedule and optional recreational activities will be shared with registered participants closer to the start of camp.
Camp wraps up with a final concert at 2:00pm on Friday, July 31st in the University Theatre in the Riddell Centre.

Refund Policy:
Registrations cancelled 30 days or more before the camp start date will receive a full refund minus a $25 administration fee. Registrations cancelled with less than 30 days notice will not be eligible for a refund.
