Music & Movement Tuesday (Night!)

Join us for zoom Music & Movement Tuesdays: March 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th from 6:30-7:30pm! This program is presented FREE of charge BUT - Registration is required.  SBA members should log in before registering to link the registration to your account.

Channel your inner rockstar with this full body cardio-jam session inspired by the infectious, energizing, and sweat-dripping fun of playing the drums.  If you participated in our recent Tune Up Tuesday session... then you know what this is about! 

Presented by Band Director Kristina Gasparic-Block, certified Pound® Rockout Workout Pro, you’ll join her in an exciting and fun drumstick rhythmic movement & exercise session.

Instead of listening to music, you become the music in this exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio conditioning and strength endurance with yoga and pilates-inspired movements. Using Ripstix®, lightly weighted drumsticks [or choose your own wooden spoons, spatulas or other drum-stick substitutes] engineered specifically for exercising, POUND® transforms drumming into an incredibly effective and fun way of working out.

Designed for all ages and stages, POUND® provides the perfect atmosphere for letting loose, getting energized, toning up and ... well getting off the couch!

The workout is easily modifiable and the alternative vibe and welcoming philosophy appeals to everyone of all ages and abilities.  Whether you sit in your chair with your wooden spoons, or stand in your living room with spatulas, come join us on Mondays for these Music & Movement sessions!
