Calling all Tuba, Baritone and Euphonium enthusiasts....

SBA's Christmas Tuba Festival  provides an opportunity for tuba, baritone and euphonium players from across Saskatchewan to gather in December to perform various well known Christmas carols for the community as well as family and friends.

The Festival is a FUN event for all ages and skill levels.  A chance to combine your tuba/euphonium love with holiday spirit!  Decorating your instrument and yourself is key... have fun & don't be shy.

Participant registration is FREE and provides access to 19  downloadable tunes to practice AND MP3 recordings to provide added support.

Mark Preece, Principal Tuba for the RSO and SBA Clinician AND Band in the Park Conductor is our fantastic Event Organizer.  While we are aiming for locations around the province in the future, the 2021 event will be in Regina at the Southland Mall - 2:00pm on December 4.

  • Registration for youth under 18 years of age must be completed by a parent/guardian.
  • To participate in the program/event, all participants, staff or volunteers will be asked to show proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or, in the case of a medically necessary exemption, provide a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before the start of the program/event.
  • For added health and safety, participants are to have a bell cover for their instrument and will be required to wear a mask when not playing.  The SBA will have a limited number of bell covers available to loan in emergencies, but participants can also purchse a cover before the event at Long & McQuade Musical Instruments.
