SBA Band Camps are successful because of the care, support and dedication of many individuals, community groups and organizations.
Sask Lotteries, SaskCulture, NAC and many others have helped to make the summer a success for Saskatchewan youth who love band.
Thank you to the wonderful facilities that host our yearly camps. The University of Regina, The University of Saskatchewan, and the Yorkdale Central School in Yorkton. All first rate facilities that allow the camps to run smoothly.

The Regina Band Camp continued down the line in our incredible 2023 Band Camp Season! We had incredible participants from all over the province join for an great week of learning and playing with our sensational line up of instructors! Throughout the week, the participants got a chance to participate in full band, small ensemble, sectionals, theory and private lessons! |
Our faculty put on recitals every day and they were a sight and sound to behold. Almost all of the faculty showed off fun, fan favourite pieces in either solos, duets, trios, or even an entire Saxophone ensemble! |
The week ended with final concerts on July 28th. The Ensemble Concerts took place in the morning, and the Full Band Concerts in the afternoon. Both concerts showcased the students’ progress over the week under the direction of their ensemble teachers and Full Band Directors, Michelle Styles and Brent Pittman. The “A” Band, under the direction of Michelle Styles, premiered the new Youth-Inspired Band Composition at the afternoon’s Band Concert entitled Follow the First Wind, with 2 of the youth composers being performers in the "A" Band.
