SBA Clinician Robin Tinani delivers a fantastic, energetic 6-week Intro to Music Theory course designed to give band students the tools they need, in order to gain a deeper understanding of their music. Learning music theory helps students understand how music is written, and how to interpret musical notes. When it comes to learning an instrument, music theory teaches students to understand the importance of notation, keys, scales, intervals, pitch, melody, harmony and more. The 6-week course covers:
