Open to band musicians of all ages and levels, Band in the Park is a relaxing & fun way to enjoy band and meet new friends. 

FREE to musicians & FREE for family and friends.

Band in the Park is an event that can be hosted ANYWHERE in the province! Do not hesitate to contact us to join in the fun!

Join the Fun - You will need to bring your copies of the music, a chair and (if possible) a music stand.

    Pride Edition!!!

    Date and Time:

    Saturday June 14th - 1pm – 2:30pm - Bandstand at Wascana Centre near Wascana Pool - between the end of the parade and Out in the Park.

    Come out and join community members, musicians, and friends to play some great music celebrate the LGBTQIA2S+ community, and have a lot of fun doing it!

    Play with director Katlyn Redding, featuring both BIP favourites, and new music picked just for Pride!

    Band musicians of the LGBTQIA2S+ community AND allies are welcome to come and play! Everyone is invited to simply drop-in and play some fan favourite music in the park! This is NOT a concert, but a chance to play with friends and fellow musicians in a relaxed setting. Band in the Park is open to band students AND adult community band musicians.

    Participants will need to download and print their music, bring their own chairs, music stand (if you have one), clothes peg/clip to hold music on your stand and of course your instrument.     Canada Day Special!!

    Date and Time:

    Tuesday July 1st- 11am- 12pm  - Lumsden Museum

    Come out and join community members, musicians, and friends to play some great music and have a lot of fun doing it!!!

    Play with director Shina Colclough, featuring BIP favourites!

    This event is being held in conjunction with the Canada Day celebration at Lumsden Museum! There will be a sing a long of Canadian songs, yard games like cornhole and horseshoes, horseless carriage to see and ride, and there will be hotdogs and pop for sale, as well as free cake! Of course, the museum buildings will also be open for viewing!
