Band in the Park - PA National Park/Waskesiu

Hello Music...In the Park!

The SBA is pleased to be adding one final date & location for our successful summer Band in the Park series - in beautiful Prince Albert National Park!

Band musicians of ALL ages and abilities are welcome. Band Director Kayleigh Skomorowski will ensure everyone has a great time playing fun, fan favorite music in the park!  This event is open to band students AND adult community band musicians.

Participants will need to bring their own chairs, music stand (if you have one), clothes peg/clip to hold music on your stand and of course your instrument.  As a drop-in program we want to keep the set up to a minimum and the FUN to a maximum!

What to Expect?

• Play some fan favorite songs like "Firework" by Katy Perry, "Should I Stay or Should I Go" by The Clash, "Old Time Rock & Roll" by Bob Seger and more! 
• Connect with local band musicians in the community!
• Enjoy playing in a safe, fun, and casual environment!       

When & Where?

August 29th at 2:00- 4:00  in the center of the Picnic/Day Use area (in the middle of the Frisbee golf course).

NOTE:  This event is weather dependant.  It will be automatically cancelled and NOT rescheduled if there is inclement weather.  So let's hope for sun & no wind!
