2025 - 26 Meadow Lake New Horizons Band Registration

The Meadow Lake New Horizons Band (MLNHB) is BACK... and now part of a newly incorporated Northwest Band Boosters (NWBB) Association!   NWBB has been set up to help foster and support the development of band in the region.  The New Horizons Band is one of the key ways the Association will deliver on this purpose.  For the first year of the NWBB, individuals who register as part of the band will automatically be recognized as members of the Northwest Band Boosters Association.

The New Horizons Band is a concert band open to any adult in Meadow Lake and the surrounding area, as well as high school students (Grades 10-12) who are currently enrolled in their school band program.

Players are welcome regardless of how much experience they have - including none!  The Band rehearses Monday evenings at 7:00-9:00pm in the theatre at Carpenter High School in Meadow Lake.

Rehearsals are a great chance to revive old skills, learn new ones, have fun with music, and get to know other musicians in our community. Director Ben Giesbrecht has worked with all levels of school players, teaches band to grades 6-12, and completed his Masters degree in Wind Conducting with Messiah University.
